A guest scrolling a page of listings is looking at forty rooms furnished from the same two shops. One good piece in the first photograph does more for a booking rate than another matched bedroom set.
Secondhand solid wood also takes guest wear better than flat-pack does, and it takes it more gracefully — a scratch on an old sideboard is one more mark on an old sideboard, where a chip on a laminate one is damage.
The prices are secondhand prices, which matters when you are furnishing a whole property rather than a room.

Furnishing a rental is usually a long-term job, so buying tends to make more sense here — but if you need something briefly, for a photography session of the property or a single season, pieces can be hired. Ask and we will work it out.
